Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer I with a strong foundation in coding, development, design, and testing, along with a passion for learning, innovation, and building technology that makes a meaningful impact today and in the future.
Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates complex software solutions within Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Solutions. In this role, you will support systems software integration efforts, bringing together multiple avionics applications on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and experienced engineers across the Platforms Center of Excellence to help deliver scalable, high-quality Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) solutions.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support IMA systems software integration activities
- Assist with software validation and verification efforts
- Contribute to Key Program Indicators (KPI) tracking and validation
- Participate in requirements analysis and decomposition
- Support model-based development and system design activities
- Assist with integration testing and troubleshooting
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 1+ years of experience in software engineering, avionics, or a related technical field (including internships, co-ops, or academic projects)
U.S. Person Requirement
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
