Associate Copywriter
Golden Pet Brands is dedicated to creating a world where pets live longer, healthier lives. We are seeking a motivated Associate Copywriter to join our remote team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Word Wizard & Revenue Rockstar, you will write exciting, sharp, warm, and conversational copy with a high level of persuasive skill. You will manage your deadlines and drive revenue through your work.
- Support the email list by writing engaging content and sales emails.
- Produce copy for all marketing and educational collateral, including websites and print materials.
- Edit and proofread the writing of colleagues.
- Write content for brand order pages, upsell pages, and video scripts.
- Execute monthly email and text marketing campaign schedules with a focus on driving revenue.

- 1+ years of professional, high-output creative writing or communications experience.
- Sales or direct response copywriting experience is preferred.
- Intensive research experience using primary sources.
- Ability to produce fast-paced, high-volume writing (over 1,000 words a day).
- Willingness to take and apply constructive feedback.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn obsessively about consumer psychology, the pet industry, & high-performing copywriting techniques.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, major in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Screenwriting, Marketing, or Communication.
Next Steps:
Successful candidates will be invited to a paid Copywriting trial (up to 2 weeks) to test skills, assess note-taking, and train in the Golden Hippo style before full-time onboarding.

Base salary range: $27.40 - $34.20 per hour, plus bonus potential. Salary is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
