Eaton Corporation North America Electrical Sales Division is seeking an Executive Sales Engineer in Energy Transition. This role will be based in Chandler, AZ, City of Industry, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Littleton, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or San Diego, CA.What You’ll Do
The Executive Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving an assigned sales quota, acting as a seasoned professional sales engineer. This position manages and coordinates sales efforts within assigned customer and distributor bases, specifically focusing on Energy Transition product lines like Electric Vehicle Chargers, BESS, Microgrid Controls, and Switchgear in the Arizona and Las Vegas markets. A deep understanding of the market area is essential. The primary objective is to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profit margin.Specific functions include:
- Drive sales increases in the marketplace.
- Manage customer relationships, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, end-users, and specifiers.
- Achieve assigned sales quotas.
- Develop and implement sales plans, responding to market conditions and competitive activities, and communicating this information to product divisions.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other company employees to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage expense allowances and submit reports promptly.
- Prepare and present bids and quotations using company software and guidelines, leveraging business judgment to enhance margins.
- Support quality efforts by providing accurate order entry information and escalating quality issues.
- Ensure accurate information flow to and from customers.
- Implement new product programs.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence on competitive products, customer needs, and buying habits.
- Provide necessary reports to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales experience.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Eaton will not consider applicants requiring immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

- Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Chandler, AZ, City of Industry, CA, Las Vegas, NV, LIttleton, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or San Diego, CA will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt).

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of electrical industry sales experience.
