Mechanical Installation Supervisor
Dematic is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our growing team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse customer projects and locations across the continental USA. The role requires 100% travel to customer sites.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 - $95,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this role:
- Ensure installation quality on project sites, overseeing manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
- Manage quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions for any discrepancies.
- Maintain on-site safety, including conducting safety audits.
- Assist with equipment trial runs to verify specifications and Dematic standards.
- Provide on-site schedule and resource reporting to the project manager and/or customer.
- Train contract labor and subcontractors on equipment installation.
- Write concise and clear trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
- Identify and suggest solutions for problems as they arise.
- Be prepared to travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling.
- Be on call and travel as needed.
- Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and walking on large construction sites in various conditions.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of ten years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
- Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with quality assurance.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts (overtime compensation offered).
- Proficiency with personal computers, database functions, and communications.
- Understanding of personal computer hardware setup and software configuration.
