About the role
Traveling Superintendent
We're looking for a Traveling Superintendent to oversee healthcare construction projects across multiple states. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the road, knows how to run jobs independently, and can deliver projects safely, on schedule, and at a high level of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field operations on assigned healthcare construction projects.
- Manage subcontractors, site logistics, schedules, and quality control.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and trade partners.
- Drive project schedules and proactively solve field issues.
- Maintain jobsite documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively for projects across multiple states.
- Comfortable working as a road warrior and being home roughly every other weekend.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site safety.
- Able to lead from the front and keep teams aligned in the field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
