Position Summary: Staff Pharmacist
The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing compounded sterile products and related activities under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy. This role also involves assisting in the supervision of IV technicians, interns, and support personnel.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensures pharmacy compliance with all State Board of Pharmacy and other regulating agency rules.
- Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing, resolving discrepancies with customer pharmacy personnel.
- Provides after-hours On-Call coverage as required.
- Participates in the CAPS Continuous Quality Improvement Program and performs assigned Quality Control functions.
- Assists in maintaining successful pharmacy operations, including troubleshooting equipment, ordering supplies, and inventory management.
- Maintains positive customer relationships.
- May supervise IV Technicians and interns, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance with CAPS SOPs.

- Required: Bachelor's degree or PharmD.
- Required: 4+ years of related experience.
- Required: Applicable industry/professional certification.
- Required: Valid Washington Pharmacist license issued by the Pharmacy State Board.
- Ability to work non-standard schedules, including On-call hours as needed.
Schedule and Compensation
- Schedule: (4x10) 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, 4 days per week with alternating weekends.
- Salary: $127,000 - $159,000 per year.
