Junior Field Services Engineer Role
As a Junior Field Services Engineer, you will be delivering a wide range of services including standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment. You will be working on Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X‑ray testing machine hardware and software at both Waygate and customer locations. This role requires extensive travel, expected to exceed 70%.
Key Responsibilities
- After completing a rigorous technical training program, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial X‑ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site service visits.
- Complete service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high‑quality service and honoring commitments.
- Monitor site safety throughout the execution of all work scopes.
Qualifications
- A four‑year technical degree (AEET, AMET) with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR a four‑year degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to undergo background checks (employment verification, criminal history, driving record, and education).
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
- A valid driver’s license and passport (or the ability to obtain one).
- Valid U.S. citizenship status.
