What you need

  • Experience selling to small and medium enterprises and direct relationships with owners or decision-makers.
  • Demonstrable results in acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets, with examples of past achievements.
  • Ability to manage the sales process from initial contact to closing, including handling questions and objections.
  • Good organizational skills and rigorous follow-up.

Nice to have

  • An existing network of local business owners who could benefit from SumUp products.
  • Experience in payments, merchant services, or point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in telephone sales, although face-to-face sales experience is also required.

What you get

  • Commission-based remuneration only, with uncapped commissions based on sales results and merchant activity.
  • Commission structure includes 50% of annualized net revenue from transactions, 50% of the sale price for hardware, and 50% of annual fees for software and subscriptions.
  • Residual income of 20% of monthly net revenue generated by referred merchants for up to three years.
  • Welcome bonus of three times the usual amount of residual commissions for the first three months.
  • Additional bonuses related to specific products or sales operations.

Worth weighing

  • Commission structure is complex and may change based on performance and program criteria.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with an independent contractor status and managing their own business activities.
