About this role
Stratolaunch is looking for a Structural or Mechanical Engineer to support the development of their Talon-A hypersonic flight vehicle. The role involves conceptualizing and analyzing components, generating CAD models, and collaborating with manufacturing efforts while addressing technical challenges and ensuring design requirements are met. - Ability to analyze designs using hand calculations and FEM
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling of parts and assemblies
- Experience with composite part fabrication and manufacturing methods
- Experience with composite tooling methods
- Experience with aerospace fasteners and specs
- Experience with drafting and GD&T
