What you need
- Professional Qualification: MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent recognised Social Work qualification
- Must be registered with Social Work England
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care or a related setting
- Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Adult Safeguarding legislation, and relevant social care policy and guidance
- Proven ability to complete complex assessments, reviews, support planning, and risk management interventions
- Experience undertaking safeguarding enquiries and responding to safeguarding concerns effectively
Nice to have
- Previous experience within hospital social work, discharge planning, or urgent and emergency care services is highly desirable
