What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, Logistics, Marine Transportation, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Two or more years of experience supporting ship maintenance, engineering, logistics, or technical project management
- Experience developing technical documentation or Statements of Work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze technical information and make sound recommendations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Nice to have
- Prior U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, or commercial shipyard experience
- Familiarity with Coast Guard maintenance and logistics processes
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Experience supporting depot maintenance or ship repair availabilities
- Familiarity with Fleet Logistics System (FLS), ALMIS, ACMS, or similar maintenance management systems
