What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Material Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical parts
- Knowledge of quality management system requirements, including ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949, or a comparable quality specification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting first- and second-party audits using ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949, or a comparable quality management system
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, block diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with measurement analysis methods, including Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility
- Experience with PCBAs, plastic injection molding, and electromechanical device assemblies
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 and ASME GD&T
- Experience working in a regulated industry
