About this role
The Tactical Communications Policy and Strategy Analyst at ANSER will support the Department of War's Deputy Chief Information Office by developing policies, strategies, and architectures for communications and information network programs. Daily responsibilities include providing technical expertise on military communications, supporting policy initiatives, participating in governance working groups, and preparing briefing materials for senior leadership.

What you need
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field (or 4 additional years of work experience if in a non-related field)
- 10+ years of experience developing Department of War issuances, strategy, and related documents
- Experience as an Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, or Service staff officer
- Experience with tactical communications vendors and technologies, including SATURN, HQ, SINCGARS, HF, Link-16, BFT, WREN, and related tactical communications waveforms and systems
Nice to have
- Background in C3 operations, policy and/or governance forums
- Experience with RF waveforms, communications gateways, and network development and/or oversight
- Experience conducting technical and programmatic research and providing information & decision papers
- Knowledge of Open Systems Architecture development and implementation
