About the role
Senior Technical Recruiter
Zoox is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their growing Talent Acquisition team. This role will focus on shaping, building, and scaling the organization by managing diverse roles, particularly in artificial intelligence and software. You will partner closely with hiring managers, taking ownership of the full recruiting lifecycle from requirement qualification and sourcing to recruitment and closing of top engineering talent.
This position demands a unique blend of teamwork, dedication, and strong interpersonal skills. As a brand ambassador, you must be adept at delivering results in a fast-paced environment and possess a genuine passion for Zoox’s mission of developing a fully autonomous mobility solution.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy.
- Source candidates, screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine fit.
- Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making processes with interview panelists, hiring managers, and company leadership.
- Manage the offer process, partnering with hiring managers, leadership, and HR teams.
- Continuously and independently seek new ways to improve both the candidate experience and recruiting process.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a competitive industry (sourcing, screening, and closing candidates).
- Ability to evaluate technical aptitude and screen candidates for both technical and behavioral fit.
- Tech and industry knowledge with the ability to understand relevant skills and companies within the industry.
- Consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniques.
Bonus Qualifications
- Interest in the autonomous and electric vehicle industry.
- Expertise in leveraging an ATS (Zoox uses Lever) to build metrics, sourcing strategies, and talent pipelines.
- Experience working for a recruiting agency.
- Experience managing complex technical roles.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $193,000 a year. Compensation is comprised of base salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered. The listed range is for base salary and will vary by geographic location and level. Factors such as relevant experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance influence leveling and positioning.
Zoox also offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, Amazon RSUs, health insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance.

This hybrid role requires working in the office three days per week in our Foster City office (HQ).
