Lead Product Manager Marketplace
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting (TAA) is seeking a Lead Product Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of their CCH Axcess™ Marketplace. This role is crucial for expanding the marketplace and Open Integration API ecosystem, enabling firms to build connected workflows and adopt partner solutions. You will be responsible for vendor intake, listing quality assurance, policy and risk management, invoice support, and creating insight dashboards, with a focus on process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end intake and publishing workflow for marketplace vendors, ensuring clear communication and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Operate listing governance, enforcing content standards, categories, and listing options for a curated marketplace.
- Develop segmented partner enablement strategies and value propositions tailored to different firm sizes and partner types.
- Assess cross-ecosystem interoperability opportunities and define technical patterns and risk controls.
- Lead risk and compliance operations, including policy enforcement audits and remediation coordination with Legal and Security.
- Support financial operations by ensuring invoice accuracy and resolving disputes for marketplace listings and fees.
- Govern the API ecosystem quality, validating partner integrations against Open Integration requirements and collaborating with Engineering for improvements.
- Instrument dashboards to identify Partner-to-Build or Partner-to-Buy opportunities and coordinate structured handoffs.
- Define and report on indirect monetization insights, translating them into partner tiering and process changes.
- Identify and automate repetitive tasks using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline operations while maintaining controls and audit trails.
- Govern vendor promotion and spotlight initiatives with Corporate Communications, managing eligibility, content, and performance tracking.
- Deliver regular analytics and executive readouts summarizing operational performance, risks, and recommendations.
- Support co-branded marketing efforts for marketplace vendors with the Marketing team.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years in B2B SaaS operations, with a focus on marketplace operations, partner onboarding, product operations, API program implementation/governance, or trust & safety.
- Practical experience designing automation with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Experience developing clear, structured written communication for SOPs, policy rubrics, and executive summaries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on exposure to developer portals and API governance.
- Experience creating and enforcing policy/content standards for marketplace listings.
- Prior involvement in invoice/disbursement support for marketplaces.
- Domain familiarity with the U.S. tax & accounting ecosystem.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range: $107,500.00 - $188,400.00 USD annually, eligible for bonus. Actual salary is influenced by factors like skills, experience, and location.
