We have an immediate position available for an experienced Office Manager to be located at our Ballantyne office! We are searching for a friendly professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented, goal-driven environment.

Responsibilities Include
- Answering phones and assisting customers in a professional manner.
- Approaching all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Managing daily administrative operations of a department, including establishing work priorities and resolving operational problems.
- Managing Purchase Orders for the district, processing invoices, mailing checks to vendors, and answering vendor questions.
- Reviewing, reconciling, and evaluating monthly ledgers, budgets, and financial reporting system reports; assisting with fiscal planning and budget management.
- Overseeing, coordinating, and processing payroll timesheets, leave documents, travel reimbursements, purchasing, and/or employment documents.
- Providing administrative assistance and support to the district manager, including problem-solving, project planning, fiscal management, office coordination, and secretarial services.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of reporting procedures and overseeing the maintenance of department records and inventories.
- Overseeing and providing personal computer functions such as scheduled and special reports, correspondence, and database management.
- Coordinating office assignments for administrative staff.
- Coordinating department programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events.
- Promoting Waste Connections standard operating procedures for efficient, environmentally correct, and safe workplace practices.
- Demonstrating the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Want You To Have
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years of directly related management expertise in administration.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Program planning and implementation skills.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
