Job Description
Design, develop, and support the "Promise and Sourcing Engine" for multiple tenants of Walmart. Develop complex and scalable software features that accurately calculate delivery dates across all front-end pages on the Walmart site. Develop sourcing solutions that adhere to the promised dates to customers. Design and develop optimization solutions to help reduce shipment costs for Walmart. Optimize and scale existing features to meet rising customer demand. Set up monitoring and alerting systems to oversee the infrastructure running software for the complete Promise and Sourcing platform. Debug, analyze, and fix performance degradation issues as they arise. Maintain the automated software test suite for all new software features and enhancements. Lead new feature software development projects from investigation to design, production implementation, and maintenance. Provide operational support for special sale events, including console events and holiday events.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. This position does not require specific years of experience but requires the listed skills. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.

Salary Range
The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Stock.
Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
