Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our system team. This team supports and expands the infrastructure for a backend software product developed by six other teams. You will be a technical expert contributing to the infrastructure supporting critical connected vehicle technologies.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Understanding of Azure components (Kubernetes, network, etc.)
• Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, etc.)
• Basic understanding of software development and programming concepts
• Practical experience with an object-oriented programming language (Java preferred)
• Basic proficiency in Bash and Python (or willingness to learn)

Soft Skills

• Ability to understand and solve complex problems
• Self-driven with an independent working method
• Fluency in English at a professional level
• Willingness to work in a globally distributed team

Ideal Candidate Additional Experience

• Experience with CI/CD concepts using tools like Jenkins, Concourse, Azure DevOps
• Cloud computing expertise in deploying and managing AWS/Azure resources (public IPs, firewalls, build agents, storage blobs, virtual machines)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, CloudFormation
• Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk
• Knowledge of SecOps, including Firewall Configuration, Security groups, DNS, Intrusion Detection, Gateways
• Experience working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
