Job Description
Technical Superintendent - BATA (Equatorial Guinea)
We are hiring a Technical Superintendent located in BATA (Equatorial Guinea). The position has overall responsibility for assessing fleet Engineers and technicians, ensuring adequate resources and shore-based support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approving dry dock specifications and conditions of undertaking work by repair yards.
- Overseeing the purchasing function with respect to vessels.
- Preparation and implementation of planned maintenance on board vessels.
- Supervision over all class recommendations, statutory requirements, and ensuring that renewals are carried out when due.
Minimum Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Familiar with Maritime Rules and Regulations, Codes, and Guidelines.
- Experience in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent English.
