About the Role
Truist's CSBB Deposits team is seeking a Senior Deposit Product Manager III to drive strategy and performance for a portfolio of deposit or debit products. This role involves full ownership, strategic planning, product development, and ongoing management to meet financial and client objectives. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to ensure product success and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial performance, design, development, distribution, and pricing of assigned deposit or debit products.
- Mentor and coach other product managers and analysts.
- Achieve and monitor financial targets for sales production, balance growth, client acquisition, client retention, net interest income, fee revenue, and overall revenue.
- Optimize product performance through adjustments to pricing, rates, fees, and waiver policies.
- Identify and execute improvement opportunities, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deposit and debit products, fees, or services.
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for product launches and enhancements.
- Design, build, and launch new products and features to meet client needs and enhance Truist's competitive position, profitability, and risk profile.
- Retire outdated products.
- Partner with the Marketing team to create and execute campaigns for client acquisition, deepening, and retention across various channels.
- Monitor client and teammate experience and identify process improvements.
- Resolve client issues and develop training materials for teammates.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to optimize products, client experience, and financial returns.
- Ensure compliance with consumer and small business banking and/or debit card payment solution regulations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and market trends to align product strategy with emerging needs and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related major or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, analytics, or marketing.
- Outstanding influencing, partnership-building, and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey conclusions to senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of autonomy in ambiguous and changing situations.
- Ability to identify and manage key risks.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Ability to travel occasionally overnight.

- 7+ years combined experience in consumer banking, small business banking, debit, or payments.
