Trane Technologies is hiring a Controls Project Manager in Bellevue, WA. The work arrangement is hybrid: Monday to Thursday, work onsite with colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location.
Job Summary
As a Controls Project Manager, you will be responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. You will lead the project team and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. This role involves managing a portfolio of projects, including complex multi-building controls projects, and requires knowledge of current job market and pricing strategies.
What You Will Do
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and developing communication plans.
- Review contract documents to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Financially manage all project aspects, including cash flow, forecasting, expense monitoring, and collections support.
- Utilize and manage qualified subcontractors, overseeing the RFQ process and subcontract execution.
- Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors on project tasks, schedules, and communications.
- Manage change orders by recommending solutions, facilitating quotes, and closing orders.
- Lead all aspects of project administration, including contract language, scope/cost/schedule validation, compliance, documentation, safety, and schedule maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- An Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Project Management degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC/BAS Controls and Project Management.
- Experience leading teams with diverse technical skill levels.
- Proficiency in resource and manpower planning.
- Familiarity executing as a third-tier contractor and experience working with building owners is a plus.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with a clean driving record.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Base Salary Range: $98,293.33 - $137,900.00. This is a salary position and is incentive eligible. Compensation is based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, and union designation. Benefits begin on DAY ONE, including health insurance, wellness programs, family building benefits, a 401K match up to 8%, generous paid time off (15 vacation days, 9 holidays, 3 floating holidays), sick leave, and educational/training opportunities including tuition assistance and student debt support.
