At Tiendanube, our Engineering Productivity team is dedicated to enhancing the productivity of our development teams. We focus on optimizing tools, workflows, and processes to enable efficient and effective engineering work. The Challenge

Your responsibility will be to design and build tools and infrastructure that boost the speed and efficiency of our engineering teams. This includes continuous support to developers, troubleshooting technical problems, and creating efficient development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct tools and infrastructure for improved engineering speed.
  • Provide continuous support to developers to overcome blockers.
  • Create safe, efficient local and remote development environments.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD Pipelines with scalable solutions.
  • Leverage container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  • Apply cloud solutions, particularly AWS.
  • Automate tasks with UNIX systems and Bash scripting.

What We Look For

  • Previous experience in Engineering Productivity or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in container technologies, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Software development experience using Python, Go, Node.js, Java, or PHP.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
  • Solid experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
  • Strong UNIX systems and Bash scripting skills.
  • Optional experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
