At Thornbury Community Services, we believe every child deserves the chance to live life to the fullest. We’re looking for nurses who want to make a real difference - helping young people stay safe, achieve their goals, discover new hobbies, and enjoy experiences that matter most to them.
Your role goes beyond clinical care. You’ll build trust with families, create safe environments, and empower children to take trips, learn new skills, and thrive at home and in their community. Every shift is an opportunity to change a life.
Why This Role Matters
Joining Thornbury means being part of something bigger - giving children the chance to grow, learn, and experience joy despite complex health needs. You will work night shifts 1:1, providing reassurance and respite for a teenage male and their family. You should be committed and reliable with lots of experience/knowledge of complex epilepsy. You must be comfortable working with dogs in the home and a driving license is recommended due to remote location.

We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Ventilation via Mask (CPAP), Care and Use of Gastrostomy & complex epilepsy/seizure management.
Your Benefits as a TCS Nurse
We value our nurses and offer a package designed to support your career and wellbeing:
- Professional Development: Access to free CPD and support with revalidation.
- 24/7 Support: Clinical and operational teams available whenever you need them.
- Employee Assistance Programme: Round-the-clock wellbeing support.
