Manager, Omnichannel & Promotional Marketing

Position Overview
This critical role is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and delivery of digital tools that enhance the physical salon, artist, and guest experience. The Manager of Omnichannel & Promotional Marketing will support global strategies while focusing on execution within North America.
- Support key initiatives within a salon omni-channel journey, aiming to improve artist and guest satisfaction, increase salon visits, enhance salon efficiencies, and foster guest retention and advocacy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors, and support new digital initiatives that transform workflows and business impact. Ensure rapid adoption and optimal execution of all tools, technologies, best practices, and enhancements to build brand equity and drive profitable growth.
- Examples of tools include hair & scalp check technologies for stores & salons, salon appointment booking experiences, marketing libraries for salons and sales teams, and salon e-commerce support.
- Serve as the marketing liaison for key digital partners within the organization, such as Aveda’s e-commerce businesses and networks. Support the overall omnichannel promotional strategy and calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Commercial Marketing: Lead marketing efforts for Aveda’s first-party and third-party digital networks.
- Retailer & Partner Support: Assist with marketing needs for key retailer and partner milestones, including assortment alignment, promotional calendar execution, and retailer presentations.
- Salon Digital Program & Communications: Act as the lead for the Salon Digital Program and Communications. Partner with internal and external vendors to oversee the execution and delivery of key brand services and experiences that support the salon network. This includes core digital tools like marketing library design and functionality, salon ordering tools, communication touchpoints, and value-added ‘A-Commerce’ offerings.
- International Collaboration: Collaborate with regional brand leads to define program scope for international markets versus North America.
- Omni Channel Promotional & Key Shopping Moments Calendar: Support the execution of the promotional marketing calendar across all channels, leading content development, creative briefing, and asset execution for the salon network. Partner with Lifestyle Marketing teams to define key global shopping moments.
- Digital Renovation Project Lead: Assist the Marketing VP and leadership team in defining, rolling out, and executing digital renovation priorities for Aveda to improve workflows, transparency, insights, segmentation, and communication for better outcomes and team efficiencies.
- Vendor & Budget Oversight: Ensure timely execution of contracts, invoices, and POs to manage vendor payments and terms.
- Team Collaboration: Provide ongoing partnership with commercial, digital, salon, store, and marketing teams across Global, North America, and International functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of related marketing experience, with at least 2 years in omnichannel marketing.
- Approximately 5-10% travel required.
- Proven consumer marketing experience in creating omnichannel experiences that drive cross-channel traffic, increase conversions, foster loyalty, and enhance lifetime consumer value.
- Strong problem-solving and thought leadership skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading direct communication and traffic-driving programs across channels.
- Excellent financial, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and lead projects accordingly.
- Ability to work consistently and with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, asset management tools, emerging digital technologies, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship-building skills are critical.
- Proficiency in managing vendor partnerships.

Pay Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $76,500.00 to $125,650.00. Actual salary will depend on factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
This position is eligible for a competitive bonus program, with potential for overachievement based on performance and company results.
