Position Overview

The Hanover's Specialty Industrial Property Risk Engineering team is seeking a Risk Engineer Sr. Consultant. This full-time, exempt role is performed from your home office in Michigan. The role involves semi-autonomous day-to-day risk engineering and insured support activities along with mentoring junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive risk engineering site inspections.
  • Generate technical property risk engineering reports.
  • Collaborate with Risk Analysts and Technical/Project Specialists.
  • Consult with customers to provide risk mitigation solutions.
  • Mentor junior Risk Engineering Field Consultants.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of NFPA Codes and Standards or Factory Mutual Guidelines is required. Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of technical risk engineering concepts are essential.
