The organization is the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform for industrial and frontline environments. It is a modern IoT-enabled cloud-based tool for reliability, safety, and operations on physical equipment and facilities. The platform powers operational excellence for numerous businesses. The organization recently completed a significant funding round, bringing its total funding to a substantial amount and valuing the company at a high figure. The company is looking for an Educational Program Manager to ensure that the platform is known as the market leader for the next generation of workers in academic and vocational training communities. Reporting to the Head of the organization's educational initiative, this role will leverage experience building relationships with educational institutions to meet the needs of instructors and students, while aligning their learning outcomes with customer workforce needs.Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with trade schools, community colleges, universities, and vocational training programs to integrate the platform into their curricula.
- Empower instructors to teach with the platform confidently.
- Work in partnership with early adopters on the creation of curriculum-ready materials — lesson plans, case studies, and lab exercises.
- Design, deliver, and maintain a library of tutorials, quick-start guides, and sandbox environments that empower instructors by simplifying their onboarding process.
- Enable revenue teams to effectively leverage the value of the educational program in their conversations with the industry.
- Surface educational partner success stories and impact metrics for use in PR, social, brand awareness, and digital campaigns that grow the educational partner network.
- Embrace the entrepreneurial mentality of building something new, and making enhancements to the program and its scalability, based upon learnings and feedback from educators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; background in Education, Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or account management — ideally within education, workforce development, or an industrial/B2B technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing educational or training content, curriculum materials, or instructional resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to audiences ranging from students to senior academic administrators to C-suite executives.
- Experience managing customer or partner data in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
- Genuine passion for education, workforce equity, and elevating skilled trades as a career path.
- Familiarity with the maintenance, facilities management, or industrial operations industry — hands-on experience with CMMS platforms is a strong plus.
