About the role
The Opportunity
Silver Falls Capital (SFC) is a Washington State-based holding company with a portfolio of operating companies focused on transit infrastructure, construction tech, and critical asset protection. This role is part of SFC's Digital and Growth team, reporting to the VP/GM of Digital and Growth. The primary goal is to build a marketing-led growth engine across companies that have historically relied on relationships and technical credibility over marketing. This position offers the challenge and opportunity to drive this transformation.
What You Own
Marketing Execution Program
You will manage the project execution between operating company (OpCo) stakeholders and external partners. This includes prioritization, capacity allocation, and ensuring delivery accountability. You will maintain execution velocity across a multi-company, multi-channel environment and prevent tasks from falling through the cracks.
Hands-On Execution
When external partners are not the optimal solution, you will step in and perform the necessary tasks yourself. You should have a credible track record of execution across various channels and be able to hold others to the same high standard.
Growth Playbook Development
You will own specific Growth Playbook modules from research and framework building to piloting, iteration, and portfolio-wide rollout. This involves tailoring each module to the specific market context, buyer profile, and commercial maturity of each OpCo.
Performance Accountability
You will be responsible for the performance reporting layer, including portfolio-level dashboards, regular reporting to leadership, and translating data into actionable optimization decisions. Defining success metrics, tracking performance, and driving course corrections are key aspects of this responsibility.
Marketing-Generated Revenue
Ultimately, you will be accountable for driving marketing-generated and marketing-influenced pipeline across the entire portfolio.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience across multiple disciplines, including at least three of: SEM/paid media, SEO and content marketing, email and marketing automation, demand generation, or product/field marketing.
- Demonstrated track record of driving marketing-generated pipeline and revenue, not just campaign activity.
- Proven experience managing agencies and contractors, and personally executing across channels when needed.
- Ownership of marketing performance reporting and the ability to translate data into decisions.
- Working fluency with martech platforms; Salesforce/MCAE (Pardot) experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-growth environments without full org-chart authority.
Expected Behaviors
- Teamwork Matters: Low ego, wins-or-fails-together mindset. Leverage expertise generously and hold yourself and partners to consistent accountability.
- Is Curious, Takes Action: Go to the source to understand market dynamics before optimizing. Learn from failures.
- Sets a High Bar: Focus on revenue outcomes and pipeline impact. Push for stretch goals over safe ones.
- Champions the SFW: Embrace and improve The Silver Falls Way. Help OpCo teams grow their own marketing capability.
- Acts with Respect & Integrity: Be self-aware, responsible, and truthful. Build trust through internal consistency.
Compensation & Benefits
In addition to competitive pay ($100,000-$125,000 annually), we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support employee health and wellbeing. Benefits include paid holidays and time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer contribution, Simple IRA with 3% employer match, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Life Insurance and AD&D plans, and an ORCA Passport benefit for new hires.
