About the role
Attorney Recruiting Coordinator
Shutts & Bowen, a full-service law firm serving clients locally, nationally, and internationally, is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator in the Miami office.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all candidate-related information throughout the attorney recruitment process.
- Discuss all lateral hiring needs and job openings with senior recruitment team members.
- Build and maintain knowledge of the firm’s services as well as the firm’s key stakeholders and their individual practice areas.
- Oversee search firm fee agreement and completion via DocuSign.
- Post job descriptions on the firm’s website and other sites as directed.
- Proactively coordinate and schedule virtual and in-person interviews between the firm’s attorneys and lateral candidates for all eight offices of the firm.
- Greet candidates upon arrival to the Miami office and escort them to interview conference rooms.
- Collect and distribute interview feedback in a timely manner and share with key stakeholders.
- Maintain and update recruiting database and files on iManage to reflect active candidate status.
- Support all aspects of law student recruitment, including the creation of application packets, on-campus interview coordination, callbacks, and offers.
- Oversee registration on behalf of the firm for on-campus events, networking receptions, and resume collects from law schools.
- Extract application materials from firm’s applicant tracking system and circulate to recruiting team for review.
- Coordinate with law school career services personnel and law students.
- Assist with coordination of recruiting events, including vendor relationships and venue logistics.
- Support the planning and implementation of the summer associate program, including orientation, manuals, work assignments, social events and training sessions.
- Participate in regional law recruiting organizations.
- Manage interview-related travel and logistics as needed.
- Process recruiting department invoices.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Two plus years of recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS), preferably viRecruit.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is ideal but not required.
