Job purpose
We're looking for a Senior Motion Designer who is a strong craft practitioner and an even stronger thinker, someone who can lead creative direction, pressure-test briefs, and build systems, not just produce assets. Motion is the core craft requirement.
Responsibilities
Motion design & production
Lead motion design across brand touchpoints, including social, digital campaigns, video, and event assets
Develop concepts and storyboards before production starts
Own video editing for digital and content marketing from brief to final delivery
Set the quality bar for motion across the team and raise it over time
Apply a consistent brand lens to everything, and push back when a brief would compromise it
Creative direction & stakeholder collaboration
Take briefs from demand generation, content, and field marketing and the rest of the business and interrogate them before executing
Facilitate alignment between creative intent and campaign goals across functions
Communicate clearly (in English) in internal alignments and cross-functional reviews
Act as a creative partner to stakeholders, not just an executor of requests
Systems & infrastructure thinking
Build tools, templates, and reusable assets that let the broader team self-serve
Contribute to the evolution of the brand's motion principles and visual language
Scout trends and emerging tools as part of the role, bringing perspective back to the team
Team & cross-functional collaboration
Operate as a senior practitioner the wider design team can look to for direction
Pull the work and the team toward higher-order thinking through quality and approach
Support broader brand and creative needs in collaboration with the design team
Requirements
Professional proficiency in English
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality motion and brand design
Advanced proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro
Strong supporting skills in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
A demonstrable feel for brand: your portfolio shows motion as a brand expression
Demonstrable ability to develop a concept, not just execute one
Several years of senior-level motion design experience in a fast-paced environment, agency or in-house
Experience interrogating briefs and proposing creative direction rather than executing on request
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to varying levels of complexity
Nice to have: Familiarity with 3D, illustration, or other adjacent visual disciplines
