Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Project Manager, Marketing & Communications, to ensure programmatic and operational efficiencies across the Communications and Marketing teams and beyond. This role will play a critical part in ensuring alignment across teams and driving execution on our most important communications initiatives to scale impact. The Project Manager, Marketing & Communications, will act as the operational leader and organizational integrator, helping the Marketing & Communications (MarComms) team operate at peak effectiveness. They will support the CCO in ensuring efficiencies across a dynamic and fast-moving team that works across media, campaigns, content production (including the production of assets from the field), and partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Agile Project Management & Execution: Support critical cross-functional projects from concept through execution, liaising closely across the MarComms team and contractors, ensuring focus, clarity on deliverables, and follow-through.
  • Process Innovation: Support and refine systems and processes that help the MarComms team run smoothly by streamlining workflows, using data to suggest process improvements that improve efficiency. Support department operations, workflows, and internal communications.
  • Vendor Ownership: Oversee systems for contracting vendors, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely completion of high-priority initiatives, including the production of video and photo assets in remote and often challenging environments.
  • Cross-functional Bridge: Ensure alignment across campaigns, media, and digital platforms straddling marketing, communications, and other departments within the organization, as well as fiscally sponsored programs that fall under marketing and communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external partners as needed, facilitating intake meetings to vet potential new opportunities. Represent the MarComms department in selected external meetings, ensuring coordination and follow-through.
  • Team Support: Anticipate needs, resolve bottlenecks, and manage information flow to enable the CCO and the MarComms team to focus on high-priority work and find alignment when needed to move forward productively and efficiently.
  • Special Initiatives: Lead or support high-visibility projects, events, or partnerships that advance Re:wild’s storytelling and positioning and ensure consistent brand expression across platforms and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in creative project management, communications, marketing, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working in mission-driven organizations or global campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative spirit, with humility, creativity, and passion for Re:wild’s mission to protect and restore the wild.
  • Experience with media production preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • Projected salary range of $75,000-90,000, with the final determination to be made commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
  • Re:wild provides medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance, with Re:wild covering between 65% and 100% of premiums, depending on plan and dependent coverage.
  • Re:wild also offers a 403b retirement plan with up to 3% match after a year of employment.
  • Re: wild observes 16 paid holidays each calendar year.
  • Full-time employees can also accrue the following annually: up to 15 days of vacation leave, 12 days of illness leave, and 2 volunteer days.
