About the role
Order Management Specialist
Qcells Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Order Management professional to support and oversee project execution through a combination of administrative oversight and specialized operational expertise within the Energy Solutions division. This role will work closely with and help lead cross-functional support teams in partnership with Project Coordinators and Sales Managers to ensure projects move efficiently from contract through fulfillment.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and verifying completed sales contracts, managing the entry and maintenance of required contractual documentation within the Operations Lifecycle Platform, ensuring compliance with third-party financing and funding requirements, and processing accurate, timely payments to third-party fulfillment vendors.
This is a critical role with direct impact on the company’s ability to build, streamline, and scale solar support operations in alignment with business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
This position is based at Qcells North America headquarters in Irvine, California, with potential remote flexibility depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and streamline financier submittals for NTP, installation, and activation funding
- Resolve paperwork deficiencies and stipulations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are validated
- Review installation photos for compliance with financier requirements and approved design standards
- Monitor system performance portals to confirm systems are online and operating properly
- Analyze reports and project data to support timely updates and funding milestones
- Provide installation partners with feedback on first-time approval rates and recurring deficiencies
- Communicate funding deadlines, documentation requirements, and turnaround expectations to partners
- Notify partners of compliance issues, including potential reassignment or clawbacks when applicable
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
- Review operational procedures and ensure alignment with industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of solar experience in operations management and analytics
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Leadership and people management experience, with ability to develop teams
- Analytical mindset with experience leading or building quantitative talent
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to present strategy to internal and external stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a high-growth environment
- Process-driven approach with a focus on scalable, long-term solutions
