Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry
Grade: Specialty Doctor
Location: Newport, Hampshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Newport, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor to join the General Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), with a focus on eating disorders. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and supporting the development of individualised treatment plans. While Section 12 approval is not required for this role, experience in managing complex cases within community and specialist settings is essential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC registration
• Experience in General Adult Psychiatry, CMHT, and Eating Disorders
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
