Locum Occupational Therapist
Division: Medicine & Urgent Care – Therapies
Contract: Locum
Setting: Acute / Specialist Hospital Services
Our client is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Occupational Therapist to join their Medicine & Urgent Care Therapies team. This is an autonomous, senior clinical role within a specialist area, supporting the delivery of high-quality care to complex and acutely unwell patients.
The Role:

Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients with complex needs, including neurological, respiratory, cognitive, and multi-pathology presentations

Work autonomously while leading and supporting clinical activity within your specialist area

Actively contribute to multidisciplinary working, ward rounds, and discharge planning
-
Support service delivery using a continuous improvement approach

Provide specialist advice, supervision, and training to therapy staff
Requirements:
-
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
-
Significant experience working at an advanced level in acute hospital settings
-
Strong MDT working, clinical reasoning, and leadership skills
-
Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
