About the role

Job title: Locum Haematologist 
Grade: Consultant
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: £105-115 DE 

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locum Consultant Haematologist to join our client's esteemed medical team based in York, North Yorkshire. In this role, you will provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities: 

You will conduct patient consultations, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Your role includes managing both malignant and non-malignant haematology cases, overseeing inpatient and outpatient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. You will also participate in on-call rotations, contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, and stay updated on the latest advancements in Haematology. Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and advancing the field of Haematology. 

Requirements:

  • GMC registered
  • CCT
  • Extensive experience in diagnostic and clinical Haematology
