About the role

Job Title: Echocardiographer 
Location: Glencorse, Scotland
Start: ASAP 
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £55.00 - £60.00 Per Hour  

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our client’s team in Glencorse, Scotland. This part-time position requires your expertise for 2 days a week over a 6-month period. If you are passionate about providing high-quality cardiac care and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a unique setting, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. You will interpret and analyze echocardiogram images to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions, communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare team members, and maintain accurate records of all examinations. Additionally, you will follow established protocols and standards for echocardiogram examinations and equipment use, and stay current with new developments in echocardiography through continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSE or EACVI Accreditation Required
• Proficiency in transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
• Strong cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
