About the role

Job Title: Locum Neuro Physiotherapist   
Banding: Band 6 
Start date: ASAP 
Duration: 2 months 
Location: East London 
Working Hours:  8am - 4pm Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week) 
Rate: £24- £27

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team in East London. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, providing specialized neurorehabilitation services. If you have a passion for neurorehabilitation and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Locum Neuro Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive neurorehabilitation services to patients with neurological conditions. Your duties will include assessing and treating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress. You will work with patients who have spinal cord injuries, behaviorally challenging conditions, or persisting disorders of consciousness, with or without tracheostomies. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and adherence to NHSE rehab pathways will be essential in providing high-quality care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration
  • NHS experience
  • Neurorehabilitation experience
  • Skills in SCI (Spinal Cord Injury) rehabilitation
  • Experience working with behaviorally challenging patients or patients in persisting disorders of consciousness with/without tracheostomy
  • Knowledge of NHSE rehab pathways
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
