About the role

Role: Speech and Language Therapist
Banding:

Location: Wales
Job Type: 
Full Time/Part Time, 3 months short term cover
Salary: 
£24.00 - £32.00 per hour

We are seeking experienced Adult Locums with Dysphagia experience to cover an acute district general hospital in Wales. This is a short-term (3 months) in-person role.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide speech and language therapy services to adults with Dysphagia.
    • Work within an acute district general hospital setting.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
    • Assess, diagnose, and manage swallowing disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Monitor and evaluate patient progress.

Requirements:

    • Relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
    • HCPC registration.
    • Proven experience working with adults with Dysphagia.
    • Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
