About the role
Role: Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 7
Location: Wales
Job Type: Full Time/Part Time, 3 months short term cover
Salary: £24.00 - £32.00 per hour
We are seeking experienced Adult Locums with Dysphagia experience to cover an acute district general hospital in Wales. This is a short-term (3 months) in-person role.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide speech and language therapy services to adults with Dysphagia.
- Work within an acute district general hospital setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
Requirements:

- Relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Proven experience working with adults with Dysphagia.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
