Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at the West Midlands. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. The duration of this contract will be ongoing with a competitive pay rate of £50.00 per hour. Must be available Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HCPC registration
- 1 Year UK experience as a sonographer with NHS and private sector.
