Band 7 Obs and Gynae Sonographer

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay Rate: £50 - £55 per hour.
  • Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

  • Ultrasound Examinations: Conduct scans for reproductive health and fetal monitoring.
  • Medical History: Review patient histories for accurate ultrasound interpretation.
  • Imaging Results: Analyze images for obstetric/gynecological issues.
  • Patient Care: Ensure comfort, safety, and confidentiality during exams.
  • Healthcare Collaboration: Coordinate care with medical professionals.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound devices.
  • Documentation: Record findings and report to healthcare providers.
  • Continuing Education: Keep up-to-date with ultrasound technology.
  • Patient Education: Inform patients about ultrasound and prenatal care.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow protocols to ensure reliable imaging results

Requirements:

  • CASE accreditation is preferred.
  • Experience with FASP anomaly scans is advantageous.
  • A Nuchal License is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have 1 year UK experience with NHS
