About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Preston. This is a full-time position starting on 29th August 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £28 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and perform diagnostic tests. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. You will maintain accurate and detailed patient records. You will stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory care and integrate them into your practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
    • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
