We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 MRI Radiographer to join our team in South Yorkshire. This ongoing role offers a competitive pay rate of £30.00 per hour, with working hours from 09:00 am to 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The position is available for an immediate start and provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer to contribute to high-quality MRI services in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. You will operate and manage advanced MRI equipment, work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment, and maintain comprehensive patient records. Your role also includes adhering to safety protocols and contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Radiographer, preferably at Band 7 level.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and conducting a variety of scans.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
