About the role

Job Title: Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
Working Pattern: Part-time (Wednesday to Friday)
Hourly Rate: £50–£55

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Sonographer with a specialism in obstetrics to join our client’s team in Bradford. This part-time role is available for three days per week (Wednesday to Friday) over a three-month period and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality obstetric ultrasound scans, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with clinical guidelines. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient care, maintain comprehensive and accurate records, and contribute to the efficient operation of the ultrasound department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC Registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound or DMU (Diploma of Medical Ultrasound)
  • Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
