Job Title: Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Hours: 37.5 per week
Days: Monday – Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £50.00 per hour
Duration: Ongoing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our esteemed client in Leicester. This role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, general medical, and musculoskeletal scans, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and patient care. Your expertise will be essential in supporting clinical teams and delivering precise imaging assessments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive ultrasound scans, ensuring accurate interpretation and reporting of findings. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of imaging quality, adhere to NHS protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (desirable).
  • Proven experience in obstetric, general medical, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
