Working hours: Monday- Friday 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Respiratory Physiologist to join our client's team in Homerton. This role is essential in providing high-quality respiratory diagnostic services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of respiratory tests and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics. This position requires a professional with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

What will your responsibilities be: 

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various respiratory diagnostic tests, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and gas transfer tests. You will ensure the accurate recording and interpretation of respiratory data, maintain patient records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Your duties will also include preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort throughout the tests. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory physiology and adhere to all relevant protocols and standards. You will participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the respiratory service.

Qualifications and Experiences: 

  • Previous experience in respiratory physiology
  • Proficiency in conducting spirometry, lung volume measurements, and gas transfer tests
  • Strong technical skills in respiratory diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and high standards of patient care
