About the role

Job Title: General and Gynae Sonographer
Banding: Band 7
Location: Westcliff on Sea, Essex
Working Hours: Wednesdays only, 08:00 - 18:30
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £50 - £52 per hour
Duration: Ongoing

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated General and Gynae Sonographer to join our esteemed client in Westcliff on Sea, Essex. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality sonography services to patients. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of patient care and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of general and gynaecological sonography tests, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting sonography equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex test results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sonography or a related field
  • Extensive experience in general and gynaecological sonography
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
