Job Title: Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Working hours: Full-time / Part-time
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £25 – £35 per hour
Duration: Academic Year

We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our client in Wokingham. This role is based within an autism-specific primary and secondary school, supporting verbal pupils. The position requires availability for one day per week and offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time professionals.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and deliver therapy to children with speech, language, and communication needs, specifically within an autism-focused educational setting. You will work collaboratively with school staff and families to develop and implement tailored intervention plans, monitor progress, and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Experience working with paediatric caseloads, ideally within autism-specialist settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educational teams and families
