About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust, based at Newham General Hospital. This role involves managing a caseload focused on Acute Medicine and Respiratory care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £27 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, particularly in acute medical and respiratory settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ needs.
  • Provide physiotherapy interventions to patients in acute medical and respiratory care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.

Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy:

  • HCPC registration
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

  • Experience in unplanned care and DTA beds.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in physiotherapy.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
