Job Title: Locum Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months
Hourly Rate: £25 - £27
Working Hours: Full-time

 

Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join the team with our client in South London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive clinical setting, managing a diverse and rewarding paediatric caseload.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic care to children and families, working with a varied caseload including neonates, premature babies, and patients with complex nutritional needs. This role offers the opportunity to expand your expertise across multiple specialist areas while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied paediatric caseload including neonates and premature infants.
  • Provide nutritional support for Home Enteral Feeding (HEF) patients, including babies and children.
  • Support patients with coeliac disease and faltering growth.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and tailored nutritional interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have experience working as a paediatric dietitian at Band 6 level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge across paediatric and neonatal nutrition.
  • Experience with Home Enteral Feeding is essential.
  • Familiarity with Cerner or EMIS systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
