We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our team at Ormskirk Hospital in Southport. This full-time role, starting as soon as possible and continuing until January 31, 2025, offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment. If you have the required experience and are passionate about providing high-quality physiotherapy care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist you will be  responsible for managing a clinical caseload, providing ongoing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for both surgical and trauma orthopaedic patients. Your role will involve working within the post-operative care ward and the elective orthopaedic ward at Ormskirk Hospital. While weekends are typically not needed, you will be part of a 7-day service, working 37.5 hours per week. This position requires acute hospital or rehabilitation experience, and respiratory physio skills are desirable. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Acute hospital or rehabilitation experience.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Respiratory physio skills are desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
