Rate: £24.00 - £27.00 per hour
Working Hours: 
•    08:00 – 16:30, with specific days as follows:
•    Monday & Tuesday: 08:00 - 16:30 (30-minute break)
•    Wednesday & Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 (30-minute break)
•    Friday: 08:00 - 12:30

Job Description:
St Martin's Hospital is seeking a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist to join our outpatient physiotherapy team. This role is essential for providing high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to patients at St Martin’s, Keynsham, and Paulton Hospitals.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?

As a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist you will conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, developing tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs. You will implement and evaluate a variety of physiotherapy interventions, including exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques. You will monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. You will provide education and advice to patients regarding their conditions, promoting self-management and healthy lifestyle choices. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with healthcare standards and regulations, ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
  • Experience working in an MSK physiotherapy setting
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport to travel between locations
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
